CLK Architects & Associates was selected to create a 2.5 acre regional park for the City of Corpus Christi. Working with the City's limited budget, CLK designed a park that provides the community with not only a safe place to gather, but also a place to enjoy the outdoors. The park includes play areas for two different age groups both with fall protection and synthetic grass. Children can play and run in a 1-acre area of planted and irrigated Bermuda grass. There is a 1/4-mile jogging and walking trail for exercise. Along the trail, there are adult exercise stations. The park has a bird watching area featuring native plants and trails. Finally, the park's pavilion was completely renovated providing a durable place for the community to gather.
