History . Values . Mission

Since its founding in 1977 by architects Johnny W. Cotton and Gordon E. Landreth, CLK Architects & Associates has provided clients with personalized architectural services of the highest caliber and designed buildings that are functional, economical, and environmentally sound. Today’s partners, Jerry C. Kramer, A. Javier Huerta, and Andrea M. Riojas, have continued this leadership and grown CLK into a significant architectural practice in South Texas, stretching from the Rio Grande Valley to Victoria and Houston and west to San Antonio.

Licensed architects and interior designers at CLK engage projects from conception to completion providing clients with focused participation from the same individuals throughout all project phases. As a result, more than seventy-five percent of CLK’s business comes from repeat clients.

CLK remains committed to educating its employees regarding the latest in building technology by providing memberships in the American Institute of Architects, U.S. Green Building Council, and the International Code Council. CLK also endeavors to be an asset to the local community through volunteer service and accepting leadership positions in civic organizations.

CLK is pleased to have qualified engineering consultants as associates. Our continued relationship with the various engineering disciplines has earned trust and respect among these professionals.

CLK specializes in healthcare, educational, industrial, commercial, and religious facilities, but has a wide range of project experience, including municipal projects, commercial development planning, high-rise and low-rise condominiums, memorials, non-profits, residential projects, and master planning and land use studies.
